​​Whether preparing for an audition, planning your next big project, or realising your artistic vision, Lee is an experienced and adaptive mentor who can help you to achieve your goals.

As Merz Trio's founding pianist, Lee built an ensemble with a distinctive voice and vision that in five years went on to win every major competition in North America. Lee's latest venture is a new performance space, Hayes Street Studio, which he co-directs with flautist Rosie Gallagher.

Lee brings a unique perspective through his years of multidisciplinary collaboration, entrepreneurship, and thinking outside the box. He regularly draws on these varied experiences in supporting and working with younger musicians.

Lee holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Yale School of Music, co-taught the Performance of Chamber Music Seminar at Yale College for three years, and currently maintains a private studio at Hayes Street Studio in Sydney. In 2025 he will join the piano and collaborative piano faculty of the Sydney Conservatorium as a guest lecturer.

Lee is available as a one-on-one menter, or as a private piano teacher and chamber coach.
