As Merz Trio's founding pianist, Lee built an ensemble with a distinctive vision and voice that in five years went on to win every major competition in North America. He also enjoys a diverse career as a soloist, writer, and arranger. Whatever your goal, you can expect Lee to have a perspective that will be helpful and adaptive to your needs.

Lee is also available as a private piano teacher and chamber coach. He holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Yale School of Music, where he maintained a private studio and taught piano to Yale College undergraduates. As a chamber coach, he co-taught the Performance of Chamber Music Seminar at Yale College for three years and has served as faculty at Yellow Barn's Young Artists' Program.
